Police Academy to Recruit 3,250 Students: Application Period Started

The Police Academy has announced that it will recruit 3,250 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications will be accepted between August 7-13 through the e-Devlet portal. The application requirements and exam details have been determined for candidates who want to join the law enforcement agency. A total of 3,250 students will be admitted to the PMYO, with 2,560 spots allocated for male candidates and 630 for female candidates. Additionally, a quota of 60 has been designated for the spouses and children of martyrs or those who have been disabled in the line of duty. Candidates can submit their applications through the official website of the Police Academy, pa.edu.tr, using their e-Devlet login credentials. Those who successfully complete the selection exams and their education at the PMYO will be appointed as police officers upon graduation. The schedule for the exam stages will be announced by the academy in the coming days. To be eligible to apply, candidates must be Turkish citizens and have graduated from high school or an equivalent institution. They must also have achieved a minimum score of 250 on the TYT exam administered by ÖSYM.
