The Unavoidable Consequences of the 5.5 Magnitude Earthquake in Peru

The 5.5 magnitude earthquake that struck the Andes mountain region of Peru has resulted in loss of life and widespread damage. According to a report by the US Geological Survey at 21:24 local time, the earthquake caused at least 5 deaths, with over 20 people injured. The disaster forced approximately 300 people to leave their homes.
