Special Student Status Extended for Earthquake-Affected Students

The Higher Education Council has made a decision to prevent university students affected by the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes from being victimized. Under this decision, students studying at universities in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Malatya can benefit from the special student status for one more academic year if they request it. The Higher Education Council's decision was made to support the students affected by the earthquake.
