Oğuzhan Uğur's Statement to the Judge: 'The Allegations Are Documented, I Find It Surprising'

It has been learned that Oğuzhan Uğur's statement to the prosecutor and his interrogation by the judge, as part of the AHBAP Association investigation, lasted approximately 15 hours. During the judicial interrogation, Uğur did not accept the allegations and stated, 'All the allegations made against me in the file have documentary evidence, I am surprised to be here with these allegations.'In his statement to the prosecutor, Uğur mentioned that they made broadcasts related to earthquake aid at the Babala TV studios. Regarding the donation process, he said, 'We published the account information containing the IBAN details of both AHBAP and AFAD under the images we shared. People who wanted to help called us to verify the relevant IBAN information.'Uğur also spoke about how his relationship with Haluk Levent ended. 'Haluk Levent mentioned that he had made various statements about me. I then sent a message to Haluk Levent to ask if such a situation existed' he said.Uğur, who claimed that he had no financial relationship with the AHBAP Association or Haluk Levent as part of the investigation, stated, 'I do not know what kind of financial transactions he made. Therefore, I did not have any doubts about whether the donations made to the association were used for purposes other than their intended use.'Uğur also responded to a question about the 6.5 million TL deposited into his account, explaining the source of the money as 'We received the 6.5 million TL from a family friend, whose name I do not want to mention, due to increased expenses such as home loan, home renovation costs, salaries, and tax debts at that time.'
