Nilda Müge Şahin Murder: Ex-Boyfriend Arrested for Killing with a Gun

The alleged perpetrator of the murder of Nilda Müge Şahin, which took place on August 5th in Istanbul's Şişli district, has been arrested. Nazir Ilgın, who had been hiding in Ayazağa Forest for 7 days, was caught by police and taken into custody.The incident occurred in Şişli's Gülbahar Mahallesi Oya Sokak, where Nazir Ilgın shot his ex-girlfriend, Nilda Müge Şahin, before fleeing the scene.After being held in custody for 7 days in Ayazağa Forest, Ilgın was found by police and taken to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan for questioning. Following his statement to the prosecutor, he was referred to the on-duty criminal court of peace with a request for arrest. The court ruled for his arrest on charges of 'intentional murder of a woman'.
