Nilay Tahiroğlu Achieves Great Success: Advances to the Finals at the Bolshoi Stage

The artist of the State Opera and Ballet, Nilay Tahiroğlu, has achieved a great success by advancing to the finals of the 15th International Moscow Ballet Competition. This prestigious organization, held in Moscow, the capital of Russia, is attended by 362 dancers from 35 countries. Nilay Tahiroğlu, due to her degrees in international competitions, was exempt from the pre-selection stage and gained the right to participate directly in the competition. Having successfully completed the first round of the three-stage competition, the artist represented Turkey in the semi-finals and received full marks from the jury members, entering the finals among the 18 dancers who advanced. In the semi-finals, Tahiroğlu performed a modern dance choreography and will be the first Turkish artist to win a medal in the history of the International Moscow Ballet Competition if she ranks in the finals. Nilay Tahiroğlu will perform her final performance accompanied by the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra.
