TKP members detained for protesting against NATO Summit

The Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) held protests against the NATO Summit in Istanbul and Ankara.Hundreds of TKP members marched towards Kızılay Square. The protest march, which chanted slogans like 'NATO, the killer, get out of our country!' was blocked by the police. Over 100 TKP members, including party officials, were detained.Meanwhile, in Istanbul, TKP members also held a protest in front of the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) in Taksim Square against the NATO Summit.
