Ankara Takes Traffic Measures for NATO Summit

Ankara has announced traffic measures ahead of the NATO Leaders Summit on July 7-8, 2026.
The Ankara Governor's Office has made a statement regarding the security and traffic measures to be taken for the summit. The office informed about the practices to be implemented as of July 6.
The Governor's Office announced that some vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city during the summit.
The application will be valid between July 6-9, 2026. The Governor's Office stated that additional measures will be taken for some vehicle groups within the scope of summit security.
According to this, fuel tankers, concrete mixers, tow trucks, and other heavy-tonnage vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city center between 16:00 on July 5 and 10:00 on July 10.
