Rare Breeds on Display in Erzurum: The Price of Shebap Pigeons Left Visitors Astonished

A recent exhibition in Erzurum showcased Shebap pigeons, leaving visitors in awe. The prices of some of these pigeons, ranging from 100,000 lira to 5 million lira, were particularly astonishing.The 'Turkey Shebap Pigeon Exhibition', organized by the Shebap Pigeon Federation at the Erzurum Service Training Institute, drew participants from across the country and abroad. Approximately 200 pigeons were displayed across five categories, evaluated based on factors such as their colors, body structure, and leg features.As one of the rare pigeon breeds found in Anatolia, the prices of Shebap pigeons can range from 100,000 lira to 5 million lira. The breeding and care of these pigeons require great expertise and attention. Breeders from various regions and abroad shared their experiences and knowledge at the exhibition.
