25 Detained in Investigation into Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu's Death

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek stated that the investigation into Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu's death in a helicopter crash has left a deep mark on the nation's conscience.Minister Gürlek announced that the investigation was transferred to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on June 12, 2026, and an operation was conducted under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.It was reported that 29 suspects were identified as having committed the crimes of establishing, managing, and being a member of an armed terrorist organization, as well as deliberately and intentionally killing people.Simultaneous operations were carried out at 30 addresses in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Balıkesir, Adana, Antalya, Çanakkale, Bursa, Isparta, and Afyonkarahisar.It was stated that 25 suspects were detained, 2 suspects were in prison, and 2 suspects were abroad, and efforts to capture the fugitive suspects are ongoing.
