Egyptian Foreign Minister: The Palestinian Cause is at its Most Dangerous Juncture
Egyptian Foreign Minister Bedr Abdulati stated that the Palestinian cause is at its most critical juncture due to Israel's increasing violations of holy sites. Abdulati spoke at the Kudüs and Holy Sites Support Ministers Meeting in Amman, Jordan. He drew attention to the Israeli army's attacks on Palestinian territories, saying:

The Palestinian cause is at its most critical juncture due to Israel's ongoing violations of holy sites.

Abdulati emphasized that Israel aims to change the historical and legal status of holy sites and continues its attacks in Gaza and the West Bank as part of its plans to displace the Palestinian people from their lands. The Egyptian minister stressed that Egypt rejects all of Israel's practices and policies regarding Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, saying:

Israel's current policies will lead to further tension. Security and stability can only be achieved by providing a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue. As long as the Palestinian people are denied their legitimate rights, Israel will not be able to live in security.

Abdulati pointed out that the entire world has witnessed Israel's brutal massacres in the Gaza Strip and that Egypt, along with its regional and international partners, is working towards a ceasefire in Gaza. However, Israel consistently targets civilians, undermining these efforts. The Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized that Israel must now adhere to the ceasefire in Gaza. Arab League Secretary-General Nebil Fehmi stated that Israel plans to impose 'temporal and spatial division' on Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem. Fehmi noted that Israel's plan for Al-Aqsa Mosque is similar to what happened at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, aiming to impose temporal and spatial division, and that they are concerned about the repeated targeting of the role of the Jordanian Islamic Waqf Council, which forms the core defense line of Al-Aqsa's identity, historical, and legal status.
