However, Israel consistently targets civilians, undermining these efforts. The Egyptian Foreign Minister emphasized that Israel must now adhere to the ceasefire in Gaza. Arab League Secretary-General Nebil Fehmi stated that Israel plans to impose 'temporal and spatial division' on Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem. Fehmi noted that Israel's plan for Al-Aqsa Mosque is similar to what happened at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, aiming to impose temporal and spatial division, and that they are concerned about the repeated targeting of the role of the Jordanian Islamic Waqf Council, which forms the core defense line of Al-Aqsa's identity, historical, and legal status.Israel's current policies will lead to further tension.
