Minibus Overturns in Diyarbakır: 5 People Lose Their Lives

A minibus overturned in Diyarbakır's Lice district, resulting in the loss of 5 lives and injuring 11 people, 3 of them seriously.The accident occurred on the Lice-Kulp highway in the rural Karahasan Mahallesi area. The minibus lost control and overturned.Emergency services, including 112 Emergency Health, fire brigade, and gendarmerie teams, were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to hospitals in the city after receiving initial treatment at the scene.It was learned that the passengers on the minibus were traveling from Diyarbakır to Muş to attend a wedding ceremony.

After the accident, health teams were dispatched to the area and our injured citizens were taken to hospitals. In the traffic accident that occurred, 2 of our citizens lost their lives at the scene, and 3 of our citizens lost their lives in the hospitals they were taken to. The treatment of 11 of our injured citizens, 3 of whom are in serious condition, continues in the hospitals in our city. An investigation into the accident has been launched. We wish God's mercy on our citizens who lost their lives, condolences to their relatives, and speedy recovery to our injured citizens.
