A 6.5 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Mindanao

A powerful earthquake struck the Philippines, causing fear and panic in the region. According to a statement by the US Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.5 and its epicenter was 35 kilometers southwest of the Balangonan area. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 52.4 kilometers, while another statement by the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) reported the magnitude as 6.4. So far, no casualties or damage have been reported due to the earthquake, and the situation in the region is being closely monitored.
