Microsoft Announces Major Layoffs

Microsoft, a leading technology company, has decided to lay off approximately 4,800 employees, affecting about 2.1% of its global workforce.The company emphasized that these layoffs are not due to the replacement of employees by artificial intelligence. Microsoft stated that it has reassigned over 4,000 employees to different roles in the past year, including 500 employees who were reassigned this month.Microsoft noted that the laid-off positions will not be filled by artificial intelligence.
