MHP Leader Bahçeli Makes Statement on New Party: Should Receive Treasury Aid

MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli spoke about the new party to be established by Özgür Özel. Bahçeli stated that the new party should receive Treasury aid based on the number of deputies.The MHP Chairman noted that in 2026, the Treasury paid 1 billion 815 million liras to the CHP, and it would be ethical to allocate a share of the Treasury aid based on the number of deputies who left the CHP to join the new party.Bahçeli mentioned that the establishment of the new party has been signaled for a long time, and various lists have been published regarding how many deputies will leave the CHP.
