Weather Alert: Critical Weather Conditions for Istanbul and Many Other Provinces

According to the latest weather forecast report by the Meteorology General Directorate, a partly and mostly cloudy weather will prevail in the northern and eastern parts of Turkey. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the northern and eastern parts of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Samsun, Ordu, Tokat, Bingöl, and Muş.The MGM analysis suggests that the rains will be very heavy and strong in some areas, including Ordu, Rize, Artvin, Kars, and Ardahan. In addition to the rain, storm-like winds will affect the Marmara and Aegean regions. The wind is expected to reach speeds of 30 to 50 km/h. Authorities have warned of the need to be cautious against sudden adverse conditions.
