Weather Alert: Flood Warning for Two Provinces, Strong Winds Expected in Marmara and Aegean Regions

The Meteorology General Directorate has issued a strong rain warning for Samsun and Ordu provinces. Citizens are warned against the risk of sudden floods, flash floods, and storms, while strong winds are expected in the Marmara and Aegean regions.According to weather forecasts, the northern and eastern parts of Turkey are expected to be partially and heavily cloudy. Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the Toros region of the Mediterranean, Central Black Sea, Eastern Black Sea coast, northern Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Artvin and Sinop. Other regions are expected to have clear and sunny weather.Rainfall is expected to be locally strong in Samsun and Ordu provinces. Temperatures are expected to be around seasonal norms across the country, with slightly higher temperatures in southern regions.Meteorological authorities warned citizens in Samsun and Ordu provinces about possible negative consequences due to expected strong local rainfall. It was emphasized that citizens should be cautious and take precautions against potential risks such as sudden floods, flash floods, lightning strikes, transportation disruptions, and strong winds.Intermittent and local thunderstorms are also expected in the interior and high areas of the Eastern Black Sea and the northern parts of Eastern Anatolia, including the provinces of Kars, Ardahan, Ağrı, Iğdır, and Erzurum.
