Weather Warning: Attention to Those Going Out Today

According to the latest weather report from the Meteorology General Directorate, a storm warning has been issued for Marmara and Northern Aegean, while a thunderstorm and heavy rain alert has been declared for the Toros region of the Mediterranean, Eastern Black Sea, and Ardahan. Throughout Turkey, temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms, with partly cloudy and clear skies, along with local rain showers and strong winds in some areas. According to the Meteorology General Directorate's assessments, winds in the southwestern Marmara and Northern Aegean coasts are expected to reach speeds of 40-60 km/h from the north and northeast. Winds at sea are expected to reach force 7 locally, leading to stormy conditions. Citizens are advised to be cautious and take precautions against potential disruptions to transportation and other adverse effects.
