Tragic Accident in Mersin: Young Lawyer Lost Her Life

A tragic traffic accident occurred in Erdemli, Mersin. 21-year-old lawyer Tuğçe Şen lost her life after being hit by a car while trying to cross the road. The driver, Uğur D., was taken into custody. The incident happened on the D-400 highway. The car, with license plate 27 AOU 439, struck lawyer Tuğçe Şen as she was trying to cross the road. Following the notification, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Şen, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Erdemli State Hospital by health teams. After treatment there, she was transferred to Mersin City Education and Research Hospital, where she unfortunately could not be saved despite medical intervention. Police teams caught the driver, who had fled the scene, and took him into custody. It is learned that Uğur D.'s procedures at the police station are ongoing.
