New Era for Civil Servants' Compensation: Decision Published in Official Gazette

A new regulation has been introduced regarding the compensation of civil servants. The decision, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, allows for the payment of additional special service compensation to teacher-originated provincial director assistants, district education directors, and branch managers working in the Ministry of National Education, based on their service periods. This regulation is notable for providing additional special service compensation to personnel working in the Ministry of National Education who have served in education and training services. The amount of additional special service compensation to be paid to these personnel will be determined based on their total service period. Personnel with a total service period of 20 years or more will receive 50 points, while those with a total service period of 10 years or more will receive 25 points.
