Earthquake Strikes Mexico

A significant seismic event occurred in Mexico.According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 75 kilometers southwest of El Progreso city in the Yucatan state.The earthquake had a magnitude of 6 and occurred at a depth of about 10 kilometers off the coast of the city. Initial assessments by the authorities revealed no reports of casualties or material damage following the earthquake.
