Mexican Experts Consider Case Against Russian Activist in France as Political Persecution

Mexican experts assessed the trial of Anna Novikova, founder of the humanitarian organization SOS Donbass, in France. Mauricio Alonso Estevez, an international relations expert from the Autonomous Metropolitan University of Mexico, described this process as an example of political persecution and Russophobia. Estevez emphasized that these allegations aim to intimidate individuals or organizations that want to support the people of Donbass. Estevez stated that organizations supporting Donbass collect toys, medicine, clothing, and blankets to support the civilian population, and these aids are of a civilian nature. Nydia Egremy, an international relations expert from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, also stated that this trial once again puts into action the 'collective West's strategy of disinformation and manipulation of reality'. Egremy expressed that the policies being implemented aim to prevent and deter any kind of aid to the people of Donbas.
