Ministry of Education Strengthens School Safety and Discipline

The Ministry of Education has made comprehensive changes to the regulations for pre-school and primary education institutions. The changes include new rules for school safety, registration and transfer procedures, elective courses, and discipline.
The school administration will be able to conduct searches in schools, dormitories, and annexes to ensure student safety. Parent interviews will be scheduled, and messages will be sent to parents of students who are absent. Students who are absent will not receive certificates of appreciation or achievement.
The regulations also include measures for school safety and student health. The School Student Behavior Evaluation Committee will take precautions to prevent negative student behavior from turning into crime, in cases where there are complaints or warnings about threats to school and student safety.
Searches and inspections will be carried out without violating the student's personality and honor, by deputy principals, members of the School Student Behavior Evaluation Committee, and other assigned teachers. Two copies of the record will be prepared for the searched places and found materials.
