Forest Fire in Marmaris Continues to Receive Emergency Response

A forest fire broke out in Marmaris and emergency response efforts are ongoing on the second day.The fire started near Kaba Kargı Bay in the Yalancıboğaz neighborhood of Marmaris. With the effect of the wind, the fire spread rapidly. Following a report, numerous teams were dispatched to the area. The fire is being responded to with 16 helicopters, 7 aircraft, 21 fire trucks, 6 water tankers, and 2 bulldozers.A night-vision helicopter also joined the response efforts in the fire area. As of this morning, both ground and air vehicles have been involved in the firefighting efforts. While the energy of the flames is being reduced, the response to the fire continues from both the air and the ground.
