Storm Warning Issued for Marmara and Northern Aegean

A storm warning has been issued for the Marmara and Northern Aegean regions by the Meteorology General Directorate. Authorities have stated that citizens, especially in provinces such as Istanbul, Yalova, Bursa, Izmir, and Canakkale, should be cautious and take precautions.The strong winds currently seen in the northwest are expected to affect the northern regions of Izmir and Manisa with strong and short-term storms in the coming days. It is predicted that the winds will blow strongly in Thrace and the western parts of Istanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, and Bursa, and will bring strong and short-term storms to Balikesir and Canakkale.Citizens are advised to be cautious and take precautions against potential disruptions in transportation and other negative consequences.
