Mansur Yavaş Responds to Allegations of Leaving His Party

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş has responded to allegations that he will be leaving his party. Yavaş did not directly deny the allegations but made a clear statement.

If I see fit, I will make the statement myself if I have something to say. If there is a development related to me, you will hear it directly from me, not from others. We are outside of all these discussions, we are at the head of our business. Because our agenda is clear, and that is Ankara.

Mansur Yavaş spoke clearly about the allegations that he would be resigning from his party.

I also want to remind you of one fact. We are carrying the trust that the people of Ankara have given us, and we have been trying to fulfill this trust since the first day we took office. Although it may be insufficient, we are doing our best. In the morning, I follow up on the ongoing work of the municipality, discuss problems with my bureaucrats, evaluate our infrastructure investments, think about our social support, rural development, new projects, and the future of Ankara. On the other hand, we are working on the new metro lines that we will launch, and we are holding meetings. Because we have a promise to our fellow citizens of Ankara. We promised a transparent, fair, and accountable administration. We will serve without distinguishing anyone, without looking at their political views, and without wasting a single penny of Ankara's budget.

Yavaş stated that they are focused on Ankara's agenda and have kept the allegations of leaving his party out of their agenda.
