Four Tons of Spoiled Mussels Seized in Manisa

In Manisa's Soma district, a truck was stopped and approximately four tons of mussels were found on board. The mussels did not have any transportation or health certificates. The teams from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry inspected the mussels and determined they were not suitable for human consumption. The mussels were subsequently destroyed, and an administrative process has been initiated regarding the incident. The lack of transportation and health certificates for the mussels indicated they were not fit for consumption.
