Violence in Manisa: Husband Accused of Biting Off Wife's Nose

A dispute in Manisa's Turgutlu district escalated into violence. A 29-year-old man, G.G., allegedly bit off his wife İ.G.'s nose during a physical altercation. The incident occurred in an apartment in Yıldırım Mahallesi, where the couple's argument turned violent.Neighbors reported the disturbance, prompting police, medical, and fire teams to respond. When the door was not opened, fire teams set up an inflatable air mattress outside the building and used a movable ladder to safely bring the woman down from the balcony.İ.G., whose nose was partially severed, received initial treatment at Turgutlu State Hospital before being transferred to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital. G.G. was taken into custody, processed, and then brought before a court, which ordered his detention and sent him to prison.
