Mahsun Kırmızıgül Asks Haluk Levent: 'Did It Really Matter?'
Mahsun Kırmızıgül wrote a letter to Haluk Levent, who was arrested in the Ahbap Derneği investigation, expressing his disappointment and sadness. Mahsun Kırmızıgül shared a photo of himself, Haluk Levent, and the late Hilmi Topaloğlu, and began his letter by saying, 'From where to where... A Haluk Levent story...'. 'We were dreaming the same dreams, living the same excitement, and climbing the ladder of fame together under the same roof. Then you fell into a terrible debt spiral. The bad habits you acquired brought great troubles upon you,' Kırmızıgül said. He also mentioned that he, along with Hilmi Topaloğlu and Özcan Deniz, personally took Levent to Adana Karataş Prison due to his debts, and helped him pay off his debts to eight different banks using the money he earned from a TV series.

That's exactly why... You should never have sat at those tables again. You should not have looked at those screens, should not have touched those buttons again. I wish your hands had been broken so you wouldn't have returned to that darkness. Millions of people lit a light for you, but you couldn't see that illumination. You turned your back on so much love, trust, and effort for the sake of a few minutes of excitement. What you did hurt not just you, but everyone who believed in you. Today, I'm thinking not of you, but of your family. For their sake alone, you should have left all your bad habits, passions, and weaknesses behind. The only question I have, which I couldn't find an answer to, is: Did it really matter, Haluk?

Mahsun Kırmızıgül continued, 'When I saw the aid you provided through Ahbap Derneği, I thought, ‘Haluk has left those dark days behind.’ You were appreciated by many, from ministers to governors, mayors, and even the President's wife. This nation embraced you and gave you a second, third, or perhaps final chance.'
