Luxury Apartment Residents Take Aidat Dispute to Court
A dispute over aidat payments in a luxury apartment complex in Antalya has ended up in court. The management of the complex and some apartment owners have disagreements over the payments. The residents are seeking the cancellation of 20,000 lira monthly aidat payments and an additional 120,000 lira payment. Resident Hediye Hin stated that an additional 120,000 lira was collected from apartment owners in January, and then the monthly aidat was set at 20,000 lira. The basis for these calculations was not explained, Hin claimed. Some apartment owners who did not make the additional payment faced restrictions in common areas, causing hardship for the residents. The court ordered the submission of the complex's decision book, general assembly meeting invitations, and attendance records. Additionally, the court set a two-week deadline for the plaintiff to pay 5,000 lira for an expert examination. The hearing was postponed to a later date.
