US Resumes Direct Flights to Lebanon After 41 Years

US President Donald Trump has taken a significant step after meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Avn, approving direct flights from the US to Lebanon.
The US had not allowed direct flights to Lebanon since 1985. Trump announced on social media that he had made a new decision regarding air travel between the two countries after his meeting with the Lebanese President.
Trump stated that he had instructed US airlines to resume direct flights to Lebanon, saying, "I hope other countries will do the same."
Lebanese Prime Minister Nevvaf Selam thanked Trump for his decision to allow US airlines to fly directly to Lebanon.
Selam noted that the resumption of direct flights between the US and Lebanon would strengthen transportation and communication between the two countries and provide an important opportunity for the Lebanese economy, anticipating positive outcomes from this development.
