Lebanese President: Turkey Ready to Support in Energy Sector

Lebanese President Joseph Avn announced that his visits to the US and Turkey were productive. Turkey is ready to support Lebanon, particularly in the energy sector, including electricity and oil. President Avn stated that his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was very fruitful. The topic of Lebanon's inclusion in the Hejaz Railway project was also discussed, in addition to Turkey's energy support. Avn emphasized that President Erdoğan demonstrated a strong will for economic partnership and highlighted his importance on regional stability. The Lebanese President also evaluated his contacts in the US. He stated that his meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington was successful.
