Hundreds of Balloons Released for 6-Year-Old Ediz Who Beat Leukemia

In Zonguldak, a celebration was held for 6-year-old Ediz Asil, who has been fighting leukemia for 4 years. Hundreds of people released balloons into the sky to mark Ediz's recovery.
Ediz was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 2 and has since undergone a long treatment process, ultimately beating the disease. To commemorate this special day, an event was organized as part of the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA) Zonguldak Industrial Heritage Festival.
At the event, which took place in front of BAKKA, a large crowd gathered to release balloons into the sky in honor of Ediz and all children fighting leukemia. Ediz's family shared emotional messages on this meaningful day. His mother, Aslı Kilcioğlu, stated that they are now only undergoing monthly check-ups and expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported them, hoping that this moment would bring hope to all families going through similar struggles.
Ediz's father, Musa Kilcioğlu, wished recovery to all patients fighting for their health. The event was attended by various officials, including the governor, prosecutor, and deputy mayor, as well as many children and citizens. The day was filled with joy and hope, including face-painting activities and clown shows for the children.
