LGS Placement Results Announced: Top 20 High Schools in Istanbul

According to the first placement results of the central exam within the scope of the High School Transition System (LGS), Istanbul High School took the first place with 500 full points. The results of the central exam, which was held by the Ministry of National Education (MEB) on June 13, were announced on July 10. Students who made their preferences for the schools they wanted to attend between July 13-27 filled 190,473 out of 198,905 quotas for schools that accept students through exams, with a placement rate of 95.76%. According to the first placement results, the top 20 high schools in Istanbul, which accept students with the highest base score, have been announced. Istanbul Atatürk Science High School ranked fourth with a base score of 494.88, Cağaloğlu Anatolian High School ranked fifth with a base score of 493.35, Hüseyin Avni Sözen Anatolian High School ranked sixth with a base score of 491.85, Haydarpaşa High School ranked seventh with a base score of 488.84, Beşiktaş Sakıp Sabancı Anatolian High School ranked eighth with a base score of 486.28, Kadıköy Anatolian High School ranked ninth with a base score of 483.86, and Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School ranked tenth with a base score of 483.43. Meanwhile, preferences for the first transfer based on placement have started today. First transfer preferences will be made until August 7 and the results will be announced on August 10.
