LGS Preferences End Today

The preferences for the Secondary Education Institutions (LGS) will end today at 17.00. Students must upload their preference lists to the system by 17.00. Candidates are making their preferences in three groups: "schools that accept students with a central exam score", "schools that accept students through local placement", and "boarding schools" through the e-School system. A total of 198,899 students will be placed in schools that accept students through the central exam. 60,886 students will be placed in Anatolian high schools, 38,700 in science high schools, 9,210 in social sciences high schools, 43,706 in Anatolian imam hatip high schools, and 46,397 in vocational and technical Anatolian high schools. The placement in schools that accept students through the central exam will be based on the students' scores and preferences. The results of the placement and the vacant quotas will be announced on the "meb.gov.tr" website on August 5th. The applications for the first transfer preferences will be between August 5-7, and the results will be announced on August 10. The applications for the second transfer preferences will be between August 10-12 and will be announced on August 14.
