Lavrov and Bahraini Counterpart Discuss Developments in the Persian Gulf

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed recent developments in the Persian Gulf and the ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran with his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif Al Zayani, during a phone call. The parties emphasized the need for all parties to fully comply with the agreement signed on June 17, which aims to end military conflicts. Additionally, it was agreed to continue close cooperation between Moscow and Manama in addressing Middle Eastern issues in the UN Security Council. The shared commitment to strengthening cooperation between Russia and Bahrain in trade, economy, culture, and humanitarian areas was reaffirmed. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani agreed to work together to further develop relations between the two countries.
