The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office conducted an investigation into 'bribery' and 'embezzlement' related to Kuşadası Municipality, based on evidence obtained during the investigation led by the Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau. Among the detained suspects are Ezgi Tezcan Yaşar, the daughter of Aydın MP Bülent Tezcan from the New Party, and her husband Umut Yaşar. A simultaneous operation was carried out in İzmir, Antalya, and Aydın, resulting in the detention of 15 suspects, while efforts to capture fugitive suspects are ongoing.
