Kremlin Comments on Ukraine Conflict

Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the idea of applying military pressure on Russia to contribute to the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine is incorrect, emphasizing that escalation and conflict do not contribute to the peace process.Peskov mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin is always open to dialogue with US President Donald Trump and noted that there was no phone call between the two leaders on Wednesday evening. The Kremlin spokesperson explained that the duration of the special military operation in Ukraine and the expansion of the buffer zone at the border depend on Kiev's attacks.Peskov said that Russia assumes the US continues to supply weapons to Ukraine while also making efforts to facilitate the peace process, and expressed hope that US officials will continue their efforts towards Ukraine after resolving the situation around Iran.
