Kremlin Comments on Ukraine Peace Talks
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that there are currently no expectations for the rapid resumption of peace talks with Ukraine.Peskov commented on the reports of Ukrainian Defense Minister Fedorov's resignation, stating that the person holding the position is of no significance to Russia.The Kremlin Spokesman said, "What is important for Moscow is that there are people in Kiev who can take responsibility and make decisions that can lead to a peaceful solution," and continued:

Kiev is well aware of the decisions that need to be made to reach an agreement.

Peskov emphasized that Russia remains open to finding a peaceful solution to the Ukrainian conflict and expressed gratitude to Turkey for its efforts to facilitate a peaceful resolution.

We are well aware that our Turkish friends are ready to continue contributing to a peaceful solution to the situation around Ukraine. We are grateful to the Turkish side for this. For now, there are no expectations of rapidly restarting the negotiation process. We do not have such an assessment. However, the Russian side remains open to moving forward in this direction.
