Kremlin's Clear Message to Europe: 'Your Words Are Nice, But There's No Implementation'
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has assessed the increasing calls among European politicians, particularly in Germany, to normalize relations with Moscow.Peskov stated that while they hear such statements, they have not yet seen a constructive change in the concrete steps taken by Western countries.

We hear a lot of statements on this matter; we witness many discussions among European politicians, including Germany. Unfortunately, this situation does not reflect the real policies of these countries in any way.

Emphasizing that Russia has always been in favor of constructive diplomacy, the Kremlin Spokesman reiterated Moscow's principled stance when asked if Berlin has taken any concrete steps to mend ties recently:

Russia continues to be open to dialogue with European countries. We have never been the side to sever relations. However, it is clear that we will always take into account the bitter experiences we have gained when restarting the dialogue in the future.

Peskov also clarified whether there have been any direct contacts with US officials in recent days.

No, there have been no contacts on our part in recent days. Of course, contacts of a more technical nature continue at the level of foreign ministries and diplomatic missions. If a meeting between foreign ministers takes place, we would only welcome it.

Moscow has always been open to dialogue, Peskov stressed, noting that Russia has never been the side to sever relations.
