The Capture of Konstantinovka: Significant Statements from the Kremlin Spokesman
Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the capture of Konstantinovka by the Russian army as a very significant victory in terms of the collapse of Ukraine's "impenetrable" defense line.Peskov, in a statement to the Russian media, emphasized that the capture of Konstantinovka has caused a wide resonance internationally. "This is really a very important victory," said Peskov, noting that the Ukrainian side has considered these fortifications "impenetrable" for years, but the Russian soldiers have proven the opposite. Peskov stated that the special military operation will continue, and Zelenskiy can come to Moscow only when he is "ready to make responsible decisions".

If Mr. Zelenskiy is ready to come to the Russian Federation in this way, we will welcome it. However, President Putin has expressed his readiness to receive him in Moscow. After all, the capital of the Russian Federation is not Konstantinovka, but Moscow.

Russian General Staff Chief Valeriy Gerasimov reported to President Vladimir Putin on Friday that Konstantinovka had come under complete Russian control. Putin described this development as "the key to the liberation of the entire Donetsk People's Republic" and stated that it opens "a direct path" for advancement towards Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. Peskov positively assessed Zelenskiy's intention to come to Russia but noted that the meeting place is Moscow. Zelenskiy can come to Moscow only when he is "ready to make important and responsible decisions", Peskov said, adding that the Kiev administration is well aware of what these decisions imply.
