Comedian Deniz Göktaş Detained Upon Return from Abroad

Comedian Deniz Göktaş was detained at the airport upon his return from abroad due to an investigation launched over his recent stand-up show 'Ölü Deniz'. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated in a statement that suspect Deniz Göktaş had published content containing criminal elements on social media platforms and an investigation was launched. Göktaş had previously stated, 'If there is a situation that requires me to be in Turkey, I will return on the first plane.'
