Colombian Earthquake: Baby Rescued After Whispers Heard from Rubble

Following a 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Colombia, a faint sound from the rubble of a collapsed building led to the rescue of a baby and its father. Rescue teams worked together to save the baby and father trapped under the debris.Brian Osorio Zuluaga was on his way home on his motorcycle when he saw a five-story building had completely collapsed. He stopped to join the rescue efforts. Osorio approached the rubble, shouting to see if anyone was alive. Despite warnings of possible gas leaks, Osorio and others searched the rubble, asking everyone to be quiet after a while.Soon, a very faint sound was heard from under the rubble. A man was heard saying, "Yes, I'm here with a baby." Osorio and other volunteers tried to lift the debris by hand to reach the father and baby. However, a large concrete block blocked their path. After a failed first attempt, they managed to lift the block together.The rescue efforts continued on the third day after the earthquake struck western Colombia. The death toll has exceeded 200, according to reports.
