Death Toll Rises to 169 in Colombia's 7.4 Magnitude Earthquake

The death toll from the 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Colombia has risen to 169. Over 700 people were injured and more than 2,700 people have been reported missing. According to national news reports, a red alert was declared in the most affected cities and a curfew was imposed in some areas for security reasons.The city of Pereira recorded the highest number of deaths, with 60 people losing their lives. The earthquake caused some roads to collapse and 10 hospitals to be out of service. Rescue teams from Bogota and Medellin were dispatched to the area to support the ongoing rescue efforts.
