An explosion occurred at the Makine Kimya Endüstrisi Bedesten Ammunition Storage and Disposal Facility in Kırıkkale. As a result of the explosion, 2 people lost their lives. According to a statement from the Kırıkkale Governorship, on June 23, 2026, at around 14.00, during R&D activities at the disposal site in the Bedesten district of Yahşihan, 2 personnel from a private company died due to the accidental explosion of ammunition.
