Perpetrators of Kırıkkale Murder Caught 12 Years Later

The perpetrators of a murder in Kırıkkale, where a man's body was found dismembered in a refrigerator and freezer, have been caught 12 years later.In an investigation led by the Kırıkkale Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, in coordination with the Ministry of Justice's Department of Investigation of Unresolved Crimes, 112 different institutions and organizations were contacted, and CCTV footage, license plate recognition system records, and GSM records were examined.As a result of the evidence obtained and the analyzes carried out, 17 suspects who were considered to have participated in the murder were identified.In a simultaneous operation carried out by the Kırıkkale Police Department's Security Branch, with the participation of many police officers, 17 suspects were detained in Kırıkkale, Ankara, and Aydın.On May 16, 2025, the owner of the house, C.Ç, called the tenant M.V. to collect the rent, but M.V.'s daughter answered, saying that her mother had passed away on May 3.The house owner, C.Ç, then came to Kırıkkale from out of town, had the door of the apartment opened by a locksmith, and found the dismembered body in the refrigerator and freezer.
