In a statement by the Ministry, the Kiev administration's attitude was criticized, stating that "Ukrainian authorities once again demonstrated their approach to deceased soldiers. They view them as consumable materials pushed to the front lines due to forced mobilization." In a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense the day before, it was stated that they were ready to organize a humanitarian action for the return of the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers who died in the region after Konstantinovka was captured by Russian forces.
