Cyprus Imposes Ban on Outdoor Work Amid Heatwave

A heatwave in Cyprus has prompted authorities to take action. The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has made a significant decision to protect workers' health. According to this, between 22 July and 1 August, every day from 12:00 to 16:00, work under direct sunlight in open areas will not be allowed. The decision, published in the Official Gazette, has come into effect.
