In an operation near the town of Rawalakot in the Poonch region, security forces came under fire, resulting in the death of a security officer. In another incident in the Sudhnoti region, protesters blocked a security convoy. According to authorities, security forces were attacked with stones and firearms, leading to the deaths of seven protesters and a police officer.
