Firefighters Continue to Battle Forest Fire in Kemer

A forest fire broke out in a wooded area in Ulupınar District of Kemer, Antalya . Upon notification, the Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the area to bring the fire under control. The teams battling the fire worked tirelessly to contain the flames, which continued into the evening hours. Local residents also lent their support by carrying water to the firefighters.The fire-fighting efforts involved 4 water tankers, 2 water supply vehicles, and 2 initial response vehicles, along with 50 technical personnel and fire-fighting workers. The operations were reported to be ongoing into the evening.
